Managing Campaigns

How campaigns work on Actnation

Your campaigns appear to employees across all partner companies during their voting periods. The more clearly described and visually engaging your campaign is, the more likely employees are to vote for it.

Active campaigns are visible in the employee voting experience. Archived campaigns are hidden until you reactivate them.

Creating a new campaign

  1. Go to NGO → Campaigns and click Create.
  2. Fill in all required fields:
    • Campaign name (English and Danish — both are required)
    • Short description (English and Danish)
    • Active date — when the campaign should go live
    • Donation goal (optional but recommended)
  3. Upload a thumbnail image — this is the main visual on campaign cards. Use a clear, high-quality image.
  4. Upload any additional campaign images.
  5. Select Campaign Topics — these are the SDG-based cause categories. Matching a company's preferred topics makes your campaign more discoverable.
  6. Click Save.

Editing a campaign

  1. Open the campaign from the Campaigns list.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Update the fields or images you need to change.
  4. Save.

Campaign detail tabs

Inside each campaign you can navigate three tabs:

DonationsA record of every donation received for this campaign, including company name and amount.
ReportsComing soon — this tab is currently a placeholder and does not yet contain operational data.

Archiving and reactivating campaigns

  • Archive an active campaign to remove it from the employee voting experience.
  • Activate an archived campaign to make it visible again in voting flows.

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to do
A campaign is not appearing in the list after a status changeSwitch between the Active and Archived tabs — the campaign will be in whichever state you changed it to.
The save button is greyed outVerify all required fields are filled in and images have finished uploading before submitting.
The Reports tab is emptyThis section is not yet functional. It will be available in a future update.
