Managing Your Votes
Role: Employee (Corporate Giving)
Portal: Corporate Employees portal
Prerequisites: You are in employee mode (not guest mode).
How to manage your votes
- Open Votes from the navigation menu.
- Review the header stats — the current period dates, how many employees have voted, and your personal vote count.
Active votes
These are your current selections for the open voting period. You can:
- Change which campaigns you have selected (as long as votes are not locked and the period is still open).
- Lock your votes to finalize them. Once locked, your votes cannot be changed.
- Share individual votes or all votes at once on social media.
Pending votes
Pending votes appear when you have tried to vote for more campaigns than your limit allows. To promote a pending vote to active:
- Remove one of your current active votes to free a slot.
- The pending vote automatically becomes active.
Pending votes do not count toward donation allocations — only active votes are included when the period closes.
Completed votes
After a voting period closes and is processed, your completed vote history shows the final donation amount your votes generated for each campaign.
Individual gifting periods in My Votes
If your company uses Individual Gifting, gifting periods appear in My Votes with a type label:
- Birthday / Milestone Birthday / Onboarding / Anniversary / Star (Recognition)
The voting mechanics are the same as regular voting periods. Social share text for gifting periods is personalized — for example, "for my birthday" or "as a welcome gift."
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| You cannot change a vote | Your votes may already be locked. Locked votes are final. |
| A pending vote is not becoming active | Remove one active vote first — pending votes are promoted automatically once a slot is free. |
| The completed history is empty | No finalized periods with your participation have been processed yet. |
