Managing Your Donations
Role: Employee (Payroll Giving)
Portal: Employees portal
Prerequisites: You have at least one active donation. See Browsing & Donating.
How to view your donations
- Go to My Donations from the navigation menu.
- Your active subscriptions and one-time donations are listed with their campaign name, type, status, and amounts.
How to update a subscription amount
- In My Donations, find the subscription you want to change.
- Click the Update action on that row.
- Enter the new monthly amount and confirm.
Changes take effect in the next payroll run. If the subscription is locked (see below), you cannot change it until the lock is released.
How to cancel a subscription
- In My Donations, find the subscription you want to cancel.
- Click the Cancel action on that row.
- Confirm the cancellation. The subscription stops after the current payroll run completes.
How to view donation history
- In My Donations, click the History action on any row.
- A history panel opens showing all past deductions and their dates.
Donation status
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Pending | Donation is queued and will be processed in the next payroll run |
| Invoiced | The amount has been invoiced and is being processed |
| Rejected | The donation was not processed — check with your company admin |
Subscription lock
Subscriptions are locked automatically before each monthly payroll run so that amounts are fixed for processing. When a subscription is locked, you cannot update or cancel it until the run completes and the lock is released.
- Locked — the subscription is fixed for the current payroll run
- Unlocked — you can freely update or cancel
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Cannot update or cancel a subscription | The subscription is locked for the current payroll run. Wait for it to complete. |
| A donation shows as Rejected | Contact your company admin — the rejection may be due to a payroll configuration issue. |
| My Donations page is empty | You have no active donations yet. Go to Browsing & Donating to set one up. |
