Purpose
Settings is your control center for everything after onboarding — adjusting giving configuration, managing integrations, and accessing legal and support resources.
Available settings tabs
Tabs shown depend on your company's plan, active features, and giving mode:

| Employee Setup | Employee source (Zenegy, CSV, Entra ID) and access restrictions. Payroll Giving only is locked to Payroll Connection. |
| Finance System | e-conomic connection and account mapping. |
| Individual Gifting | Gifting triggers (Birthday, Onboarding, Anniversary, Star), amounts, and messages. Only shown for companies in Corporate Giving mode. |

How to update settings
- Go to Company → Settings.
- Open the relevant tab.
- Make your changes and save.
- Verify the effect in the corresponding operational page (Employees, Voting Periods, or Payments).
Updating your company email addresses
The Company tab has two email fields:

| Contact email address | Yes | Onboarding and account communications, and invoices — unless a Billing / Finance email is also set. |
| Billing / Finance email | No | If set, invoices are sent here instead of the contact email. Leave it blank to keep invoicing the contact email. |
Both fields are editable at any time from Settings — unlike most Company Info fields, the contact email is no longer locked after onboarding. Save applies to both fields together.
Setting the donation lock date
Open Company → Settings → Company Info to find Donation lock date. The field appears when Payroll Giving is enabled and your company is not in Corporate Giving mode.
Choose a day of the month from 21–31. After that day has passed, amount changes to employees' existing ongoing donations no longer update the donation for the current payroll run. The changes are still saved and apply to future donations. Set the day before your payroll cutoff so payroll uses final donation amounts, then save your settings.
Hover over the circled question mark inside the field, or use Tab to focus the input with the keyboard, to read the explanation while editing the field.
Viewing your billing plan
The Billing Plan tab shows:
- Your current plan and price per billing cycle.
- Any promo code applied to your subscription, including its active dates and whether it is currently providing a discount.
To change which email address receives invoices, update the Company tab — see above. Billing subscriptions themselves are managed by Actnation platform administrators. To request a change to your subscription, contact your Actnation account manager or use the Help tab.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| A tab is missing | That feature may not be part of your company's plan, or (for Individual Gifting) your company isn't in Corporate Giving mode. Contact support to confirm. |
| Changes do not appear immediately | Refresh the page and check the corresponding operational section. |
| Payment-related settings not working | Check Mastercard status from both Settings and the Payments page. |
| Giving Mode fields are greyed out | Some giving mode settings lock automatically once onboarding is finished — see Giving Mode Configuration. |
| Payroll Disconnect is unavailable | Payroll Giving only requires the payroll connection. Contact Actnation support if the setup needs to change. |
